In addition, using the CBILS® process enables very ecological production of the ionic liquids. Production can be reduced to just a few process steps since with this process elaborate purification processes become needless. There are almost no waste products or pollutants, enabling maximum cost efficiency in production.
Standard liquids
Because of the strengths of the CBILS®, proionic is specialized in the production of imidazolium based ionic liquids such as EMIM (1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium) and BMIM (1- butyl-3-methylimidazolium) ionic liquids.
Through the years it has been shown, that combinations of the following standard cations and anions are most suitable to meet the demands of almost all our customers.
Choose your cations and anions from the lists of standard ions and put together the desired ionic liquid in a modular system according to your needs.
